Process Design & Development

Problem Definition

All too often, business problems are ill defined yet corrective actions are already underway to treat the symptoms but not necessarily the root causes, leading to wasteful and perhaps counterproductive results. By applying structured thinking and approaches, Experient has helped clients arrive at better problem definitions, a requirement for achieving the insight necessary to identify appropriate options and to develop better solutions. The outcome has been greater confidence in plans and actions, as well as, ultimately, a more efficient use of time and resources.

Process Mapping and Analysis

Through process mapping and analysis, Experient provides clients with an improved understanding of their key business processes. That greater understanding supports not only improved problem definition but also the goal of continuous improvement associated with Business Process Management (BPM). Even if a company is not experiencing, or does not recognize, a current "problem", key businesses processes may be substantially underperforming, causing suboptimal financial results (i.e., leaving money on the table) and perhaps building up to a future problem.

Process Design and Reengineering

Applying the insights gained from problem analysis and process mapping, Experient can help clients optimize performance through the design or reengineering of key business processes. Our approach incorporates Lean Six Sigma concepts of measurement (metrics selection and data collection), high quality standards, minimization of process variation, process speed, waste reduction, complexity reduction, and data-driven management, but de-emphasizes the numbing jargon that obscures the benefits of these concepts
